Hugo is back in Munich, and we’re thrilled to welcome him this time both as a teacher AND DJ!
Workshops will be offered for Beginner Plus, Intermediate and Intermediate Plus levels. After the workshops, stay for the party and enjoy DJ Hugo and his incredible selection of forró music!
Hugo Silva began teaching dance in 2004. He is particularly well-known for for his clear didactic style, his focus on Forró Pé de Serra, and his attention to precision for both lead and follow.
wir sind sehr stolz, Janayna Pereira nach 10 Jahren endlich ein weiteres Mal in München willkommen heißen zu dürfen! Janayna ist Sängerin, Songwriterin, Percussionistin und Schauspielerin (Escola de Arte Dramática EAD/ECA/USP). Sie war Frontfrau der Band Bicho de Pé und Sängerin und Autorin derer meisten Songs für 19 Jahre.
Ihre Kompositionen – besonders „Nosso Xote (Moreno)“ – wurden ein großer Erfolg unter Forrózeirxs und Freunden der Kultur des Nordostens Brasiliens, welche ihre hauptsächliche Inspirstionsquelle ist. Ihr Soloalbum, welches unter anderem Kooperationen mit Zeca Baleiro und Mestrinho enthält, erschien am Dia de São João des letzten Jahres und ist auf allen Plattformen erhältlich.
Im Moment arbeitet Janayna an der Pre-Production ihrer EP „Festa de São João“, unterstützt von Mestrinho am Akkordeon und einer Neuauflage ihres größten Erfolgs „Nosso Xote“, welcher ihr im Erscheinungsjahr 2000 über 300 000 verkaufte Platten einbrachte.
Musikalisch unterstützt wird sie bei unserem Konzert von den großartigen Diego Oliveira (Zabumba) und Cainã Araujó (Sanfona).
Since 2004, Trio Alvorada has been delighting audiences wherever they go. In September 2015, the band went on their 1st international tour and the success was so great that the trio has already returned five times. And now, once again, they’ll be playing in Munich!

Together they have already travelled through Brazil and Europe, where they gave workshops and presented dance shows. In 2020 and 2021, the pair explored the online format and participated in several Online-Festivals. They created a Forró Roots course with 60 video lessons and regularly offer online workshops and courses.
